Did you know Chicago police officers are responsible for replacing their own vests? We launched the Get Behind The Vest initiative to raise money to help them out. The campaign was a labor of love created on a tiny budget, that included first-hand accounts from officers shot who were shot and saved by their vests. The campaign was so successful that the initiative still exists today.
